The State of NH and Town of Milton NH have verified (as of March 2022) that they are moving forward with the bridge on TOWNHOUSE ROAD into Lebanon ME.
Currently the state plan is to put the bridge HEIGHT back at the same as the old wood bridge! This is BAD NEWS if you have a wakeboard tower, Bimini, hardtop or a boat that sits off the water quite a bit, you may not be able to pass under the bridge when completed!
As you pass through the bridge look, see if you will have an issue! I will be posing updates from the town and state here. If you care and want to voice that they need to RAISE the bridge, please speak up and come to the meetings that they plan to hold in the coming months.
Without the public voicing concern, the state will stick to their plan and the lake will be cut in half for many of us!
